Whoa - I never said they were any good. :o)
I mean most of the F1 cars are built and designed in Britain. And most formula cars. And most rally cars. And a lot of land-speed cars. And things like the Caparo T1, McLarens, Ultima's, etc. The British can't mass produce cars. They just can't put them together properly (like Italy, France, America, etc) but they can make some very good limited run cars. Oh and look up George Lanchester. 4 wheels, car, 1895. Using Daimler engines. :o)

76 countries drive on the left, it dates back to when horse and carriage would progress on that same side. The car that Daimler invented wasn't a car, but it was a motor vehicle and had the steering in the middle. As far as quality, VW/Audi, Mercedes and French cars have the worst record for reliability and warranty claims in Europe. On UK car co's lack of funds, we have a small population and had a long period of state interference which damaged many brands for a long time.

-a1rs0ftman nonsense. This is an excellent review. Very objective. R8 is the super car yeah, like what he said, practical potential in very real road scenarios. So a daily car is more applicable in some ways, it is a fact. Deal with it. Want to hear only godlike things about super cars? Go watch their commercials.

Haha, Gottlieb Daimlers Motorkutsche had 4 wheels. :P And maybe because brtish cars are that good, this is the reason why nearly every bigger car manufacturer in GB is cash strapped or bought by german or indian manufacturers? :D
