Watch the road trip to end all road trips - Steve Sutcliffe drives the epic McLaren MP4-12C from the Autodroma International in Portugal all the way back to the UK, via Le Mans, of course. Expect to see long, winding roads, police and a flock of sheep to boot, in this special extended video feature

-KalEl600rr Oh and may I add doing 70 mph is slow. It's a boring speed in modern day cars and that's why there are so many freaking accidents on the road because people fall asleep at the wheel coz it's so damned slow. Have you ever wondered why Germany's unlimited autobahns have so few accidents? Because people concentrate at the much higher speeds. One can easily do 180 mph no trouble. And if you can't go this fast without panicking then you don't belong on the road. You're a menace to others!

I still think that even cars like this should have manual. You can have that fancy paddle shifters, but leave manual as an option for good drivers. And I know, some american will say -Oh no, automatic is always better-, but it is because USA couldn't produce proper manual with more than 4 gears and stayed with automatic. Now you have to ask is one -can handle the stick- which is sad. I want my mclaren manual, even knowing it would mean a little stower car.

-KalEl600rr Oh and going fast from A to B on a public road is not racing. It's just going fast. If it was down to you, no doubt, you'd ban the 100m sprint at the Olympics because the ass that you are can't handle speed. And you know nothing about control either. That guy in the video is driving perfectly well. Nothing wrong in his driving. You know what? Why don't you make a video of yourself driving and let's judge and laugh at how rubbish you are.

-KalEl600rr And how was Steve Sutcliffe, speeding in traffic? And so what about cut lanes. There's nothing wrong in that if there aren't any cars up ahead. And he most certainly wasn't driving recklessly. So you have no point. You're just an hesitant ass. Shut up and take the public transport.

The 12-C outperforms the Italia in every typical quantifiable measure of performance and it annihilated the Italia on the Top Gear (BBC) test track by posting a lap time that was more than 3 seconds quicker than the Italia. I LMAO at all of you subjective, brainwashed, closed-minded ferraristi.

In my opinion, it is not as nice looking as its older brother, the McLaren F1. Its styling, to some extent, resembles a Tesla Roadster. But I really like the way the door opens. And it's just too bad McLaren didn't chose to keep the driver's position in the center of the vehicle.

His comment is all about England affirming its engineering heritage. It's nice that we make something to be proud of.
He is not and no-one else is saying German or any other countries cars are not good enough.
I'm English and i drive an M3, a truly fantastic car.

the mclaren's 10 seconds faster round the nurbergring too.
i believe mclaren has accused Ferrari of tuning and tweaking their cars to perform better on the track there being tested on where as the mclaren was a standard production model.

-KalEl600rr Oh I understand exactly what you're saying. You're an ass from the go-slow parade who thinks driving is hard when it just so isn't. So, like I say, take the public transport you hesitant fool.
