The 2020 Porsche 911 Speedster is what you get if you imagine a Porsche 911 GT3 without a roof. With a 4. 0-litre naturally aspirated engine, a six-speed manual gearbox, and GT-department suspension the Speedster is the last of the line for the 991-generation 911. It's incredibly focused to drive and engaging, like the best Porsches, on road or the track

20 years ago, there was ample Porsche character in every model, from base model to the top end of the range. Nowadays it seems you need to get one of the limited edition, high-dollar GT cars to get that Porsche magic anymore. It's a damn shame. This car is great but Porsche used to be a company where all their cars were great, not just a small slice of limited edition halo models above $150k.

it's bizarre how the brits shoot videos in cold conditions in t-shirts. or in freezing conditions with a jacket on but no hat. are hats somehow -wimpy- or not cool in UK? this guy excusing himself for wearing a hat is like me excusing myself with people for wearing shoes. i'm interested in understanding this weird cultural norm?

The next GT3 + RS 992. 1 will be NA. GT3 will be available in manual. Porsche CEO has confirmed that the next fastest 911 will be a hybrid. Also we won-t see hybrid 911s until the 992. 2 Turbo S in 4 years or so. The ultimate 991 to buy is the GT2RS.

As others have also mentioned, if you're going to tell us to -listen to that! -, we're going to need to be able to actually HEAR the damn thing. If the audio can't keep up, compensate with a script that doesn't showcase a lack of production ability.

I can-t help but feel you struggled for footage in this video I must of seen the car go through the same green fenced part of road 7 times.
Surely you can do a better job with one of the purist cars of today-s generation.

You would hope it-s the best 911 convertible at the price wouldn-t you? But you can-t even buy one, shame most of them will be locked in some billionaires collection and probably driven once a year, still it-s a epic car: -)

What's the point of advertising and reviewing a car that's not available and won't be? The idiots who buy these sigh unseen cars, don't care, they invest dirty money in this form instead of buying gold or stocks.

What a shame that this video has ruined the engine noise, you can hardly hear it, the wind buffeting has covered it up. I've got the gt3 and the noise is incredible and his reaction is justified!

particulate filters do rob some of the flat 6 sound. No getting away with that unfortunately. Otherwise a great car if you-re one of Porsche-s VIP = Valuable Important Person.
