The 2027 Audi Q9 and SQ9 have a bigger second row than the BMW X7 or Mercedes GLS, but they cost less and deliver better performance. They also have some of the best headlights on sale in America and hands-free driving tech standard. Is this the Q7 that should have been Well, no because the Q7 is also new this year focusing on a smaller and easier to park form factor and lower sticker price. The Q9 starts at $87, 700 and the 591-hp twin-turbo V8 SQ9 at $118, 000 (as tested $128, 045. That undercuts the GLS 63, the Alpina, and many Escalade trims, yet the SQ9 still runs 0-60 in 3. 8 seconds. We also cover cargo space, interior tech, ride and handling, fuel economy, and the November 2026 on-sale date. Here's why we don't talk about reliability much: And resale value Same thing:

Naturally a vw product wont have a diesel in north america, because they're the reason diesel is dead in north America. the fact we functionally banned diesel rather than just banning VW brands here in America is wild to me. This with a turbodiesel would be perfect, but instead we get their awful turbo gas engines. And no phev is just pathetic, for commodity cars I understand them going away, but luxury cars, who cares about a 4, 000 dollar phev package on a 100, 000 dollar car

The front and rear ends really do not look good to my eye, but for different reasons. The front end is too brash with that huge grille, but the back looks like three different design teams just threw what they had together and called it a day. What is that tail light design It's like they changed the design mid build. It does not look good no matter how I try to view it.

I will be in line with this for the Porsche version. So exciting. Gotta go look and see if their awd hardware is a deal breaker or not though. None of this disconnectie stuff going on. I think I’d be ok with a center clutch as long as all of it stayed on all the time. But Porsche has their own awd hardware tech so there’s that too. See. So exciting.

Looks like prior gen Hyundai Santa Fe outside and interior is cheap plastics. No physical controls inside and the fact that you can't even control the vents manually are an instant deal breaker. Nothing I want in a vehicle. Nothing about this car says luxury

11: 18 did you mean heated seats for 3rd row Thanks for a great review. The 3rd row is disappointing given that it is low to the ground, reminding me of my old QX60. Will need to wait for next-gen X7 or get Lucid Gravity after they fix all the software bugs.

The exterior of this looks like a larger/glorified version of my father's previous 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. Even the rear taillights are similar. The DRL pattern shown at the beginning of the video has the Santa Fe's DRL design.

Doesn't feel like luxury actually means luxury anymore with new luxury cars. It just means more screens and more awkward touchscreen controls. Would rather spend tons less for a mainstream vehicle and get 90% of the luxury

Never buy an Audi: between the instant 40% depreciation and a CEO who tanks the brand's reputation at a political rally, it’s the only car that loses value faster than a politician's integrity.

I guess I just don't get why Audi needs both the Q7 and Q9 which seems to be the same thing. Two three row vehicles with tight third rows. Why not make the Q9 larger for an actual 3rd row

Upwards of $130 - $150 to fill it up, then 19mpg (which likely drops to the lower teens on short-errands and high speeds. Literally 10x the running costs versus a Q8 Etron.

Congrats on hitting a million subs! You absolutely deserve it. I send everyone shopping for a car to your reviews for the detailed walkthroughs without the nonsense.

Alex is terrible at estimate distances. His 2-inches guesstimate is more like 45-inches
Guess the upcoming Benz GLS and BMW X7 will get longer to compete with this

how the premium fall copy paste design of hyundai Santa Fe from 2019 at least they are consistent - less reliable and badly build than the Hyundai

Wow I Love the new SQ9. Great review. Dual CarPlay is the only thing I was sad about. Hopefully that is only a software update away.
