I don-t know if he-s referring to just the Avant body style of the RS6 or not but the first generation RS6 built on the C5 platform was available in the United States in 2003. It was sold in a sedan/saloon body style only. No Avant/wagon body style but the 2003 model year RS6 sedans were sold in America. I-ve heard that around 1200 cars were sold in America in 2003 on several occasions and saw a very specific production number of 1, 437 2003 models for the U. S. on a service bulletin but who knows exactly. Canada got 90 of the 2004 models the last year the RS6 was produced. Either way, the 2003 RS6 was the first RS model from Audi to be sold in America with the RS4 following later.

I wonder what these do properly tuned, ie. stage2. that's the real question.
Is it the same 4L engine from the current RS7, RS6 and S8? The previous gen S8 can be tuned to about 700 hp without building the engine. It's heavier and does 0-60 in 2. 8-2. 9 sec, quarter mile in 10. 8-10. 9s. :) The turbos to break later on though. I've heard of this on a few ocassions.
This is why I went with the supercharged A6 at 450 hp.

So a five metre long, 2. 10 tonnes hearse with 22- wheels is -inconspicuous-? It. s just more anti SUV trendy stuff from people that don-t have to buy and run these things. It wasn-t long ago the same journalists sneered at estates as -Antique dealers or travelling salemens - cars. Never seen a dog in the back of one of these (another cliche spoiled. No doubt it-s a great steer but inconspicuous it is not.

I think Matt Prior is very much at the top of the motoring journalist. (what's the collective noun for motor hacks). no matter. He's one of the best. . I think we should start a crowd funding page to raise money to buy him some new hoodies.

Unpopular opinion: i-d take a E63s Wagon over this any day of the week. I find the new one to be over overstyled und quite uninspiring.
