I have one correction to make to the comments and the video on what the original KITT car is. yall are both correct The Pontiac brand is well known for using trims for their vehicles that become later on their own vehicle. Case in point is the 1964 Pontiac GTO, that was originally just a trim for the Pontiac Tempest up until 1964. KITT is actually a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird. Now it is true the Firebird trim dates to 1967 all the way to 2002 but it wasn't until the end. 2000's it really started becoming its own vehicle with the Firebird WS6.

KITT is externally well designed, still looks good even today. It has the right forms and dimensions, first watched the serial in 1984 when I was still a kid. The interior makes me smile nowadays. Hope someone comes with an interior retrofit keeping the same principles but with today's technology
