Next time you want to do something that's never been done before I suggest you use a test dummy like a table or a small replica car or, idk, anything else other than the object that you want the final product on.
If you want to do this
A. You need a smaller hole than what they used which caused large amounts to come out and create splatter.
B. You need the bottle positioned closer to the object so the distance is shorter reducing splatter.
C. You need to do it to a flat object to negate runoff.
This can work on a car but even with good lines you may still have runoff.
The only thing I can think of is to tape off any area that's not flat or has a steep angle and even then, the design will only be visible from the air so it's not going to look great.
This would be cool if you taped the back half of the car completely and did it only over the hood. But, even then. Not a rollsroyce I dont think.
Edit: or even just take the hood off lay it on the ground and just do it to the hood only

How can she ruin such a nice car. Rolls are supposed to be stylish and classy now it looks like a 5 year old child scribbled all over it. Like seriously if you want to mess around with a paint job like this do it to a cheap crappy car not a 500 000 Rolls Royce!
