add a nice set of offroad tires and some taller coilovers to increase suspension travel and the jimmy would probably out perform both of the other cars. and you might say -well thats not fair, you could say the same about the other ones- well yes. the only caveat to that is that even after those modifications the jimmy is still likely to be the cheapest car in this line up. plus the jeep STARTED with offroad tires which gave it a clear advantage. and seriously comparing it to a G wagon? thats like comparing a civic to a Porsche. even so that little jimmy really hung in there and gave everyone a run for their money. sometimes you dont need the fanciest gadgets or the most power to get the job done. and for that the jimmy is the clear winner in my eyes.

Switch them around and see the best from the three races. You know, start each one half in the lake like you had the wrangler setting in in the first race. And I KNOW beyond a shadow of doubt that mister jeep driver isn't even trying. That jeep slammed to the floor would have shot water and mud 20 feet in the air. Your being biased towards one of those vehicles. I'll watch this video just to find out what kind of deception you're up too. You sure they're all in 4 wheel drive?

the Mercedes won clearly, he dominated the 2nd Challange clearly, no strugle, no spinning tires, and all in idle speed as you did not want to ground it. so it should have the 3 points instead of only 1 and there for win the complete challange by 2 points. i would definitely never buy a Merzedes G, if i buy a G then the original, the Puch G, but i've seen the other challenges and considering price i will always buy the Duster over jeep, Jimny or Lada.

I think if these are simple -trail- trucks, then all you need is to add KO2 tires to the Jimny + lunchbox front locker + rear POSI LSD locker + a 2. 5- lift. It will be unbeatable. The rear LSD won't compromise ride quality, and the front lunchbox locker won't kick in anyway until the Jimny is in 4WD mode, so no issues on the road. It is a light vehicle. Had enough of everything. Add a little winch with synthetic rope. Very nice rig!

Well considering you hit the hill climb with speed in both the Jimny and G while slowly waiting until you were already slipping tires before you hit the gas in the Rubicon, the Jeep can and would have easily made that climb if driven like the others. Besides, seeing as how I have worse terrain on my farm that my wife's rogue can manage to get through I must say your tests wasn't exactly fair or that terribly impressive.

The Jeep Rubicon has a 4. 1 ratio in 4L making it a crawler not a foot to the floor hill racer. To actually make it a fair comparison the jeep should have been in 4 High or all 3 crawl up the last hill to see who goes the longer distant.
Either way they all did good!
I wish the suzuki was sold here -

I have no doubt the Jeep could have made it up that hill. With that said, all of these off-roaders are awesome in their own ways. Shame they don-t bring the Jimny to the States.
I-d love to see a comparison between the Range Rover full-size vs the G Wagen

For me the jimny absolutly won, because he is the cheapest. And he make everything brilliant in my opinion completly without difflockers, against the big machines with difflockers. And one personility he is the absolutly cutest real 4x4 you can have.

The G-wagon is just a mall crawler, but the Jimny is just a small version of both the Jeep and the G so thats the budget 'ffroader to get right there.
If a G-wagon and a Jeep had a baby. Jimny.
da Momma is da G and da papa is da Jeep.

If I would be filthy rich I would go for the Merc, so I-m picking the Suzuki as the winner and best option for me.
The Jeep is in fact a overpriced Fiat and I don-t like Italian cars because they don-t hold over time, so.
