Ehy, got an idea! Why not make a drag race between a Scania and a F1 Or better: a cat versus a brick and mortar house
I mean I get it. It's for the content. But if with the Purosangue you were somewhat in the same league as that. abomination that carries the Lotus badge, against the Lambo it's not even comparable by any mean. So now, likes and visual aside, what's the point in this drag races

I know these new lotus cars are not typical, the owner company Geely are trying to make lotus more profitable to remain in the game and continue to build the amazing cars they are known for, sadly hasn't worked as they hoped, however lotus have been involved in the design n driving set up etc of the EV ranges. I didnt want to like their EV line up but having driven a few (test drive only) they are really nicely set up and feel really up market.

When you brake test cars with carbon ceramic brakes, do you get the brakes hot first It's well known that when cold they can actually perform quite badly, and that the main benefit of carbon brakes isn't just outright performance, it's endurance.
Maybe a brake test where you do several B2B stops and demonstrate how traditional iron brakes fade vs carbon ones

What would be interesting is the fastest times each of these cars ever did. Some of these have been on so often, I'm sure they have an overall best time, I'd like to know. Maybe other drivers had better times in them, be intersting to see who REALLY deserves to be called racing driver, or not!

Not a fan of a lotus look. However, 952 hp for $100, 000, I don't remember if that was British pounds or US dollars, but good luck finding something with that much horsepower for the same price.

You cant do a SUV Vs Supercar. Bring the Urus against the Lotus. Then its a fair match. Putting the huracan Vs the Lotus was liking brining a GPMG to a knife fight. Put the Yanni in the Urus & Matt in the Lotus. Then'll we'll whats fair.

That first drag race was extremely close and Matt Jumpson just assumed he won. I think it was a even. Not seing the same energy for a photo finish from Matt when its the other way round. Funny that he said he wants to win fairly.

I think the stress and anxiety of carrying the weight of Lamborghini on his shoulders has left Yanni too exhausted to comment. He must have a lot of shares in Lamborghini to show that level of relief when the Lambo won.

Yanny really did cheat twice. It's not the angle. Brake lights tell the story. That means the Lotus nearly matched that Lambo in braking. and nearly in acceleration too. Poor Ferrari.
