Matt, you-re officially out of control! -. I almost turned off the video after you were hammering on that vintage S class. (Bad time for S class but it-s still a Mercedes-. I quickly regained interest after I saw you were serious about the test. I think I almost pissed my pants watching you negotiate putting that willing S class( diesel-thanks for allowing us to hear the clattering and check out the badging)through it paces. Good grief about the half wheel. We have to endure the quirkiness with Elon. --. Jolly good show old boy!

Your test of the yoke in this form is not sound. The joke itself was designed to fit your hands is a certain way, and the car you are using will not give you the same results. I've own the new Model S for approximately 2 months now, and thought I would hate the yoke, and was already looking for aftermarket options for a 360 wheel. Now I love it and find it very user friendly. With that being said, I find your test to be over exaggeration when it comes to maneuverability with the yoke. Other than that, I had a good laugh.

This is not accurate because when tesla made the yoke steering wheel they had too design it to cope with these obstacles and using an old s class to do this is ummm. idk what to so about that. But my favorite part of this video is when he chopped the hell out of the steering wheel

Tesla made you steer less, but the car turns more; it helps out with sharp turns. for example, on this car you turn the steering wheel 180 degrees and the car only turns 45 degrees, but on the tesla you turn about 90 degrees, and the car turns 60 degrees.

Now the Chinese needs to make an aftermarket steering wheel and console with standard stalks for wipers and light that fits and work with Tesla plaid and believe they will sell as much of these as many Tesla been sold --

I'm curious how a more 1: 1 steering ratio would improve this design. Not needing to go hand over hand would be completely different. The plaid nurburgring driver didn't need to go hand over hand during the drive

Im pretty sure the plaids turning will be sharper as its unsafe to have the yoke going full 360. Im fairly sure its gonna be a sharp turn rather than a normal modern car with modern steering wheel
