MG5 Review - makes every EV look overpriced!

It s pretty much the most affordable electric estate car you can buy in 2022, and Mat s on a mission to see whether this EV can compete with similarly-priced petrol-powered competitors. If we start with the design Well, it s not much to look at, if we re being honest. Both from the front and the sides we re getting old Passat vibes, and the fact that you can only get it with 16 wheels doesn t do it any favours! However, it s not all bad! For starters, the single electric motor is good for 156hp, whiles its 61kWh battery pack will also provide you with a claimed range of around 250 miles. Not bad when you consider the price is around 29, 500! Take a step inside and the MG5 has a pretty average design. It s nothing too special, but at the sub- 30, 000 price tag, you can t really complain! There s also plenty of room in the back seats so neither big kids nor adults will have trouble fitting in

Had this looked slightly nicer I might have bought it instead of a petrol mark 7. 5 golf estate. I know that's hardly a looker either but it is quite classy. At the time the max range offered was also under 200 miles. Had it been 250 would have been seriously tempted. Had I known what would have happened to petrol costs even more so. I really don't like the front end styling but the rest is smart enough. I'm pretty sure the next version will prove even more tempting. People are slow to change. Not yet one electric car on my street. Not even plug in hybrids. Won't be long though. Well priced this too.

This car's brother, the Roewe Ei5 (I think) which has been sold for millions in China alone. Its been widely used as Uber and its by far the most reliable EV Uber in the Chinese ride sharing market. It was firstly sold in 2015 ) and one of the drivers said it can still run more than 300Km per charge with 350k KM on mileage, and you dont need sophisticated maintenance. FYI, the price in China converted to pounds is about 22000 for the highest trim.

But that's not all! We gladly suffer, because we know that suffering helps us to endure. And endurance builds character, which gives us a hope that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love.

Reliable? No, I see here in Thailand there are many cases in screen malfunction and sometimes it can t be charged. Many other MG also run down for unknown reason. Not sure that they fixed this issue or not. Think twice about it. Anyway this car is less issue than other model available here.

This car looks like an AI algorythm made the an average render out of all European stationwagons made in 2010. I can not even comprehend how boring the cars that are coming out of China are. It looks like a 2011 Volkswagen Passat knock-off. The only colour this car should come in should be brown.

After driving it since January, it s still a damn good car, and if you want a cheap ev estate, that s the one. I always look forward to driving it because how fun yet smooth it is, especially in eco mode which wasn t covered, the steering becomes so light and the accelerator is more forgiving

The MGB is not rubbish to drive, it is fun. Also they are not unreliable as so simple look after and service. Also it does not depreciate unlike this new Chinese built car that will be in the scrap yard in a few years time and worth 40% of its purchase value after 3 years.

Nahh, It has no froot, and Mat haven't told that but tail looks like copied from mercedes. Buy it if you don't think cars are living entities and only a tool for you. Good priced useful thing. But absolutely not beatiful.

Looks like a Passat estate from 10 years ago that was bread with an i40 of the same era and put on stilts buttons look like BMW s iDrive 7 year warranty? They ll be bust by then
