Meet the Mercedes VIP Class! It s been lent to us by Clive Sutton, and Mat s about to show you around this super luxurious van to find out just what makes it so special. Step into the back and you ll find five seats, two of which are super comfortable business-style airplane seats that come covered in diamond quilted leather - the same leather as you ll find in a Bentley, no less! What s more, you can choose from 7 different colours of leather, 8 different types of Alcantara, and a choose of 24 different wood veneers for the interior! You ll also find a find a starlight headliner just like in a Rolls-Royce! The VIP Class comes with a built-in iPad which is used to control almost everything. You can use it to open the doors and move the seats around. But that s not all, you can use it to reveal a huge flat-screen TV (with a PlayStation 5 built in) as well as an actual bar! The VIP Class is built from a 300d V-Class. This means it comes with the ability to produce 240hp and 500Nm of torque. But of course, having originated as a V-Class it means whoever is in the drivers seat will be greeted the same usual Mercedes infotainment screen and dial layout. But let s be honest, if you re the owner of the VIP class, chances are it s only your chauffeur who will be sat in the front!

What is that for exactly, PlayStation controllers? Im young and i wouldnt play a game during a car ride.
I can only imagine it being cool for about 3 hour trip, and then again, this is designed to shuttle a person for not very long periods of time.
Distasteful

Simple technology being made to look extravagant. Nearly every bedroom with someone born after 2005 has colour changing LEDs. Touch control has been around for many many years. nothing special about this at all. pimp my ride would do all that in a chevvi for 30k

The level of laziness people reached now it is unbelivable and they call it luxury. To extent a f table or a frige you have to wait forever while keep pressing a buton when you can reach and open it by hand in 2 sec. Good luck opening these stuff when they break

No amount of money or any interior is going to stop the tantrum when using the kill switch on your children. There are some thing money can t buy. Or maybe a nanny in the back (and an au pair in the front) will do the trick.

So even paying a couple houndred K, you will still have to deal with shit like wrong labeling of the lights, a screen that is hidden behind headrests and that narrow entrance?

190k
I d rather buy a used one for 50k and save the extra 140k worth of mostly tat
Pretty sure you can get most of that extra stuff done for about 10-20k max anyway

Ngl, getting 2004 MTV pimp my ride vibes from this. what situation exists where you can afford this but not something that's better suited for the occasion?

We drove 1, 500 miles this week and the kids had to slum it in the back of the X5 with their iPads. I bet they would complain far less with this thing!

It's luxurious sure, but it also does look somewhat cobbled together. It certainly doesn't look OEM quality that's for sure
