Sadly, a laser detector will not prevent you from getting a ticket. If your laser detector goes off it means you have been clocked and that is your ass. Also, many police departments use encrypted radio transmissions so you wont be able to listen to them to know where they are nor do they announce on the radio where they are sitting, enforcing traffic.

7: 17To get from Vegas to middle of florida in 24 hours, one would have to maintain a minimum of 100 MPH the entire time. That's including an hour for fuel ups, food etc. Without the hour an average would go down to 96. 29 MPH. Now, while its not impossible. Its unlikely. As someone who has drove across the country on a tight deadline, the road takes a toll.

Whatever is attached to the windshield is a ticketable offense. In many states operating any non standard electronics is ticketable. Nothing will help you against an officer pacing you or a helicopter monitoring you. Penalty should be car smashed. And one year in jail for what your doingSecond d offense 5 years

Not a huge fan of Waze, doesn't account for real time road closures which is huge for MONTREAL right now with all the construction. Maybe it does and I'm using it wrong but if I turn it on to get out of downtown, it sends me in a circle trying to get on the same ramp they closed.

1 if cops have laser guns your detector will only say that a fine is coming. 2 you could first to mark them on Waze, so always do that and like others who marked them. 3. Install a dash camera with no gps it records speed works great on intimidating cops when they notice it; )

In some states where it is illegal to use a radar detector, there are some people that use the undetectable models and mount them in the dash so they can't be seen. Rewiring them and modifying them so that they fit in the car in a manner that is unseen and unnoticable.

DAMN You were in Chicago and I missed ya. Would've loved to have meet you all DAMN DAMN DAMNOh and Waze isn't 100% so use with caution. It's dependent on people entering info. And sometimes can be off some. But, way better than nothingCheers

Think the Uniden R7 looks to be a better detector. Better filtering for the K band lane / collision 'radar' most modern cars use. V1 are not RDD proof. V1 still has the same outside look over the years but have new updated 'guts'.

So much BS. Dont listen to these morons with speeding tickets. All you need is laser/radar diffuser/jammer. You get 360 degree protection. Its not cheap, but cheaper than ticket & insurance.
