Fun stuff but here are some pro tips from people who use them for what they were designed for: 1) Use tire deflation. It's your best friend for getting more traction in low traction environments. 2) If you're going to get into off road shenanigans invest in some Maxtrax (save you a ton of headache getting out when you get stuck)3) learn about your lockers. You can get into some epic places using lockers. Have a blast You've barely scratched the surface of the kind of shenanigans you can get into this epic vehicle

Dont you have a winch controller and winch blankets so when the cable snaps the blankets will pull the cable down so it will not fly towards you and hurt or kill you and a winch is for PULLING THE HUMMER NOT TO BE SNATCHED OMG please buy you a winch kit and have someone EDUCATE YOU ON HOW TO PROPER WAY TO USE IT STAY SAFE MY FRIENDS THIS REALLY WAS SHOCKING TO WATCH IVE HAD ALL 3 HUMMERS IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK ME OR SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL EDUCATE YOU

Are you telling me that that Hummer doesn't have a diff lock? From what I remember from when I was in the Military they had them. If it doesn't, or it's been removed you need to get one installed if you're going to keep doing this stuff. I saw times when only one side was getting power, that's why you got stuck. Also they come standard with an E-tool in the Military version for a reason, if don't know what that is it's a small floding shovel.

You Should have Winched yourself From the Rear out of the bank. Dumb Idea to try and pull a heavy Hummer through the bank to get it out. You boys should know that shit lol. Also it isn't good for your winch to be Jerking like that. Use a tow rope if your going to be Jerking. Winching is for slow and Steady Pulling. Just Tryna save some equipment from getting broken.

When winching with steel cable you have to put a dampener on it or some weight because if it snaps like it did, it has so much stored energy that the cable can saw someone in half or cut right through the steel. That's why people use synthetic line these days. Watch some winching videos to keep everyone safe

you guys got a hummer stuck. in a parking lot. you're right, i don't think that's been done before congrats. you also used a winch as a recovery strap (for the 2nd time in this video) and broke the line snatching it. you guys are retarded and even more worrisome, DANGEROUS. i want my view back - you don't deserve it.

The hummer H1 Diffs are auto locking. What you need todo is apply a bit of breaking and the torque sensitive diffs will lock together. I am not sure if any other vehicle does this but I know Honda atvs have a similar set up. Apply a bit of brake will let you crawl out.
