I think the law is something to the effect that your exhaust can be modified, but not if the DB exceeds 75 or some certain number (stated in the CVC) AND if you have a modified exhaust, the muffler manufacturer should provide DOT acceptance or approval numbers with it stating that it is okay to put on the vehicle which eliminates the need for any DB meter testing or any gray areas, if you can have XX brand muffler on the car, then you can have it. Period. End of discussion. Of course, cops tend to be shoot first and ask questions later and they do not like to back pedal so this is what you get.

Why do you think that guy imports to Canada vs USA, cuz he cant get that car in USA its illegal import due to emissions regulations. Work around the rules import to Canada they dont have emissions regs as strict, then drive to USA like a Canadian, is all that guy is really doing. Thats the real truth.

People wonder why police pull over lambos, lmao stop doing things that you know will get you pulled over. Not saying these guys did something wrong but a lot of people with expensive cars say they havent done anything wrong when they have whether its something they did to the car, or on the road.

it's a CALIFORNIA Ticket for Profit idea, 1000 Dollar Exhaust tickets. They just don't want the Public to have Fun, If your car is over 95 Des. they can write you a ticket for Loudness, You should have asked to see his D-Meter. DON'T THEY HAVE TO PROVE IT'S MODDED?

What happens if you have a stock loud exhaust. There is some higher end cars that are loud from stock. What happens then? How do you prove its stock? What happened if you hollow out a stock exhaust and have a second stock exhaust to pass emissions testing
