What Killed All of Canada's Car Brands?

video description

Canada produced 2. 4 MILLION cars last year, so why have we never heard of a purely Canadian Car Manufacturer? The thing is, there used to be Canadian car companies, but not anymore. What happened? And why doesn't Canada have a badge to call their own? Mkrtich: May be Canada is runned by concealed oligopolies and monopolies closely interwoven with government securing their market position and killing all the competition. May be that's is why innovation is long gone from those lands. May be.

Although Canada doesn't have ant major independent consumer car brands, Canada still has major brands for military vehicles, trains, and aircraft. Several European companies use Canada as a gateway into the US market as well.

Honestly, my dream as a Canadian car enthusiast is to create my own car company. Too bad I'm only 17! I wish I had the money and the space to work on the masterpiece I have envisioned for a very long time.

Because Canadians make shitty policy. We depend on USA to everything. We even buy back out own refined gasoline from USA. We are in short sellouts and pussies.

I live in Canada and just got schooled on a Gretzky Tim Hortons coffee and that we have some car makers. I thought the last Canadian car was the Bricklin.
