Driving a Lamborghini in a Snowstorm - Summit County, Utah. Rat3d M: I couldn't (and wouldn't) drive this car in the snow if I were in your shoes. I don't even drive my M3 in the rain or snow. I know you say it's just snow and it's not hurting the car any, but it's not the snow that you really have to worry about. Road salt will cause the underbody to rust within 2 seasons of winter driving, plus the car has too much power to handle the snow in any practical way whatsoever, with, or without AWD and winter tires. That car is far too expensive to repair and it's too easy to lose control in the snow, even driving carefully. A simple slide around a corner into a telephone pole at 20mph can easily cause 30, 000+ worth of damage. But hey, I guess that's what insurance is for. Lamborghini doesn't just make cars, they make works of art that should be treated as such. I'm not saying park the car and stare at it. It is meant to be driven, yes, but on a track, or to car shows/meets, or on weekend group cruises and spirited canyon/highway runs, NOT drifting in the snow. That being said, and before all the YouTube warriors comment about how it's a car, it's meant to be driven, I will say that it's your car which you worked hard for and earned, so do with it as you wish. I commend you for living your dream, and if you choose to get the most of it by driving it in the winter, then more power to you. Just saying I personally could never do this if I owned this car (which I will one day soon enough. And BTW, listen to the crowd about black wheels. Do it. Thank us later.

+TheStradman That Orange just looks better and better to me. Beautiful. I have created a 3 year plan to buy a Gallardo Spyder. If it happens in 2, I won't be upset. I am going to wrap it in chrome green, silver-mirror chrome wheels, but going to paint only the spokes in high-gloss black (to match the back convertible top. The rest of the wheel still chrome of course. Red calipers, and a small spoiler, nothing too tall, and I don't care about carbon fiber. I am in Albuquerque, so not too awful far from you. I used to live in Murray, UT. Perhaps when I get it I can run up there and meet up for an afternoon. And like you, I intend to DRIVE it, it is a car, not a statue. Great vid - Kevin

Props to you for actually driving your supercar which is what they are intended for. I bet it would do just fine all winter long with the winter tires on it, as long as, the snow is not too deep and the roads are plowed. Just watch out for ice on the road and other cars of course. Make another video with Lucy, she is fun to watch. Shes seems like an awesome girl to be around. Most people dont know that winter driving is all about the proper tires, and at least, a little, driving skill and common sense. (smoothness is key) There is a video of a Lamborghini on studded tires going up a ski slope somewhere here on Youtube. Fifth Gear did it I think.

8: 10 That is a backwards Haldex. Its an AWD system from FWD based cars like the cheaper Audis. Open center diff, torque takes the path of least resistance. That system was designed for flat Sweden, a fuel efficient AWD system for flat ground in some snow where they require studded tires past October 15th, and somehow the system found its way into a Lamborghini in Utah; )

That Lamborghini is bad, and when I say bad I don't mean horrible kind of bad, I mean insanely awesome kind of bad. Keep it up with the videos and I like how you don't leave your lambo in the garage like other people do when winter time comes around. You have your lambo out and you play with it. Keep up the good work

Stradman, I started watching your Lambo videos just a while ago. I have enjoyed them until I saw this one. I am well over twice your age and when I saw this video you have earned my sincerest respect I do wonder what the dealer in Newport will think when he sees it. Priceless Have fun. Wayne

The car looks great. but the Gallardo sounds crap, hurricane and aventador for a Lamborghini or I will just go for a Ferrari or jaguar sounds better, the Gallardo sounds like my old fiat lol no offense. But well still it has the looks but for me not fun to hear when I'm driving a supercar.

That was amazing I also love the color more and more especially in the snow. I was there a few weeks ago, hoping to see you drive by to say hello but no luck. I did pucker pass in Moab with a Grand Cherokee. I think that might be a stretch for the Lambo's off-road capabilities: )

HEY YOUNG MAN, LAMBORGINI OR NO: WHERE IS YOUR SEATBELT? (This is the grandma writing. If you don't need a head then you don't need a seatbelt You do seem to be a nice young man, and I know you're only young once, but do take care, winter tyres or no.

Respect man. Supercars along with classic cars are meant to be driven. If you just spend your life searching for one, and get one just to let it sit in the garage for 90% of the year and never fully have fun driving it, what's the point? Keep on driving man
