As a mechanic myself I find it discussing where they put the throw out bearing, I have seen this design on a ford ranger and Nissan versa and I was calling the manufacturer all kinds of names many of this new engineers are brain dead, why do you need to place the throw out bearing right in the middle of the transmission what was wrong with the old design on the side of the transmission where it's two bolts to remove it? why wasn't it working? And by the way I think Lamborghini is way over priced, you put a big engine in any small light car the car becomes a rocket, no big science they kind of fooled people by calling it a super car so they can charge big money.

cobrapub here, A piece of advise being a victim my self confident supercar ownershipIf you buy a supercar, Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo, prepare for a clutch job/slave cylinder/through out bearing, plus expect a 5, 000 to 10, 000 job at the same time or expect troubleNow if you buy a used supercar I would demand a MAJOR GENERAL INSPECTIONED service, whatever it needs it or not, add it to the cost of the deal The MAJOR service should have the engine gone through as well as inspect of the gear box and gears and seals The only car I have ever owned, that ever tried to become a exception was the 1974 Lotus, Eurpia, Great car, lousy engineer

The throw out bearing is a modified LP throw out bearing with thicker and better seals so it will last longer than an oem. Champagne Is Good For Your Soul
I had a Range Rover, 2014, I fell in love with that car. Now it has about 72k miles. Breaks down sometimes, and expensive repairs. I paid about 90k, sold for 68k. Such a nice car, but very unreliable. No matter how much you love your car, it comes the time to get a new one. I drive a Lexus now, due to its reliability. Your Lambo is such a nice car, but I hate to say it's time to replace it. I'd honestly recommend an amg, or new Porsche

I would never say you should do it yourself. . ever And furthermore I dont believe on God's green earth any supercar owner could fix their own machine's, with few exceptions. And even Furthermore. With that kind of routine maintenance bills, you couldn't pay me enough to own one. If I was a billionaire, I'd buy a Rover or Escalade and call it a day And waive at you as you fly by me on your way to the shop

I had to watch the video more times to get how much you paid for the single parts, at the end of the video I understood that you could spend a lot more in Italy with taxes and labor included. So you are lucky but not that much for the clutch and slave cyl issues. Hope you will have the chance to resell this supercar with a decent profit. Best of luck James.

With that styling, power and sound it's easy to see why a Lambo is desirable, but how does Lamborghini charge 4600. 00 for a Throw-out bearing (A THROW-OUT BEARING) and still keep a straight face (the top of the line, better than anything else throw-out for our road track stock car was a fifth of that, and that was over paying just for the name.

The traction control on these cars is total rubbish and it cannot handle the power from the engine it needs to be totally redesigned if you take an X6 you can throw it around like a Ford Focus because the German traction control is superior to any Lamborghini 100%

Does anyone know how much the average cost to replace the clutch and plate or a transmission rebluid of a 2005 Lamborghini gallarado. For some reason the transmission is slipping after punching the gas pedal a couple of times. Any help would be useful thanks
