The only reason to swap a 2JZGTE into this car would be for purity, and to try an help it be a Real Supra, and a Real Toyota at heart, which let's face it, is a big part of the whole Supra mantra legacy thing. A streetable, non-mid engine, non awd car, like this, can't really do much with more than 600hp traction wise. You'll just be spinning tires. There's really no logical reason to have over 600hp in this format on the street other than bragging rights. That being said, I think it would be cool to put the 2JZ in there and replace as much BMW stuff with Toyota as possible, to make it the MkV Supra Toyota should have built. Cause it's a BMW. Cool car though, until the warranty runs out.

TheStradman, let's be honest. After you bought and paid for your Supra, then Chevy picked the lock to the pearly gates that lead into heaven. Allowing the car angels, AKA a C8 Corvette to fly down and announce that in a few months many of these angels will present themselves to our lackluster world of mortality and will bond to an owner for the BARGAIN of 60k. The thought of a Molotov 0 deductible burn yo shit idea had to pop into your head every time you looked at the Supra, and remembered how much more it was than the C8: )

The beauty of having a fleet of cars is there are Specialty Cars, Daily Drivers, and Mods. The Supra is a cool daily meanwhile the Supers (Lambo, Ferrari's) get that needed rest. Being the King of the Jungle and All. LEAVE THE SUPRA AS IS MAN. Just be Cool in It. Don't even rap it. Some guy may come up to you and say: Hey Your That Strad Dude Right? You'll nod real matter a Factly. Then He'll say, Man Sign your name on my dash and I'll buy it from Ya. You'll take 75, 000. 00 from him and go.

Some of you are concerned about his financial future while we are driving Hondas, Volkswagens, and Subarus If we sell our cars we can get 5k to 25k depending on our model While if he sells his Lambo he will get 200-400k or something What Im trying to say is, if shit goes down and he sells everything, he will still be more of a stable position than us, stop worrying and talking smack about his cars and future.

I would keep the b58 I mean I would want a 2jz but the time and money is a lot to work with and besides the b58 is the same from a z4 but Toyota tuned it to be better than z4 even if they both have the same engine

Definitely swap for a 2JZ. Much easier to tune. I see the price doing much like it did with the new civic type R where dealerships sometimes charge 2 or 3 times the MSRP just because its popular and have a large fan base.

Im a Toyota salesmen in Wenatchee WA and we are getting two Supras, we will only be selling them for 5, 000 over MSRP, and no there will be no one selling these at MSRP EVER
