Nice summer sunny afternoon trip! There are some eastbound trains to meet us: 10: 50 Hol (El18 with yellow passenger train in the small window); 40: 12 Haugastol (passing Et57 Unit nonstop); 51: 50 Tunga (freight with El ); 2: 02: 00 Voss (freight with El14) 2157; 2: 59: 40 Arna (Et57 Unit.
p. s.: Good Video, but for me the sideviews were a little too many & some of them little too long.

Of all the videos I've seen of the run between Al and Bergen, this is the best! The side views are wonderful. Thanks so much for the extra work editing the video. Wow! 10: 30 at night and the sun is just setting. Norway is a beautiful country and your videos prove that. Thanks again for the work you do and attention to detain you put into your videos, HinduCowGirl!

The EL18 seem like absolute rock solid machines. For a 20 year old loco that must get worked absolutely to death it still seems extremely quiet and reliable. especially in the harsh winter conditions you have there. Do you have many faults these days or do they just keep going and going.

Wow - I just realized what I was seeing at 52: 30 on the side view. The ice had not completely melted yet in those waters. And by the time you got to Finse. well, still winter. :D Then right back to summer on the other side of the mountain. Microclimates are so fascinating.

I can see the diamond shaped signs that indicate where you are supposed to sound the horn. What I haven't figured out is why, at any point, why the horn needs to be sounded. There doesn't seem to be any consistent reason like approaching a road crossing, station, bridge or tunnel.

From about 20: 50 on (clock time, not video time, the late light bouncing off the mountains and flooding across the land is simply exquisite. And so cool to have the setting sun shining through the high Bergen station window as you arrived. Kind of Stonehenge-y. :D

Just came back from a holiday trip where I stayed near Geilo with a view of this exact line (just before Geilo. Nice to see this. Edit: 16: 00 is where you exactly pass the house that is straight across from where I stayed!

Recently I got an 85 inch Sony 4K tv and these videos have become so addictingly pleasurable to watch on a big TV screen. I play these videos and do stuff around my home and doing dishes has never been so meditatively calm.

I love all your videos, I especially love the ones like this where you have a view out the side it gives such a better understanding of the surrounding country. This is by far my favorite!
