We have really similar Stadler Flirt trains here in Estonia/Estland. I've ride both trains in Helsinki and Tallinn and the seats in Estland are better. And trains are same clean here too - Our train operator uses them for commuter and long distance intercity routes (for us 2+ hour train rides. Fortunately new trains are coming that are designed specifically for intercity routes.

The train station IS beautiful and it IS CLEAN, why are you surprised that it is so clean? It is a pleasure to go to clean countries, like the Nordic countries where the Nordic people are civilised and appreciate how well equiped their country is and how well looked after they are as citizens of these Nordic countries.

I think that the Swiss SBB used the FLIRT train for the wrong purpose. Even in this video, he has clearly mentioned that this train is good for commuter and airport services. It might be clarified by the fact that buses with such interiors are always commuter buses and not intercity buses. Overall, a truly nice video--

I can't believe Stadler make seats that are even thinner than the ones on Flirts in the Northern Netherlands! Like sitting on a wooden plank with a centimeter of soft foam on top of it. Too hard to spend more than ten minutes on, really!

Awsome. Finland. Name gives a cool chill feel. Beautiful interior. Similar to DB Regio. Exterior color and shape is cute. Buddy the seat is hard is good for back. Moreover this is local train. So I think it is ok. Great coverage.

0: 54 tbh I almost always use the elevator rather than escalators cause it's a bit quicker. The escalators are 2nd longest in the country, 72 m long with 31. 5 m height difference (just shy of the ones in Koivusaari metro station)

Maybe you should try the Hungarian FLIRT trains also to compare, if you happen to be there once. They've got many complaints about seat comfort, compared to the old Hungarian rolling stock from the communist era.

1. You are not in a Scandinavian country. Finland is part of the Nordic Countries, not Scandinavia.
2. The cleanliness does not apply to Denmark for example. Finland is very clean in comparision.

I wish Arlanda was as cheap as Helsinki. To use the normal commuter trains from the airport there is a massive increase in price due to the airport station being privately owned.

We are getting, and have been getting, a lot of FLIRTs in Sweden lately. Both as commuter and IC-trains, Bi-level and regular. A little tip for 2021. :)

Technically Finland isn't Scandinavia. Speaking of which you should definitely come and visit in Denmark, Sweden or Norway. Great video nonetheless

Wow. Last time I flew in to Helsinki I needed to take a bus to a nearby train station. Glad to see the service goes directly to the airport now.

Trust me, I use these trains daily. The toilets are rarely clean, very frequently they are bloodstained and with needles all around.

FYI: the costumer decides the interior of the trains. In this case you have to blame VR regarding the seats/seating configuration

5-7 min walk? At OSL, Gardermoen, It's 30 sec from the baggage claim (domestic) exit to the escalator.
