I travelled that train in 2nd class few years ago. It was ok, narrowish as you say, but then I discovered the buffet car. And spent 2/3 of my journey there. i wasn't hungry so I only had snacks and beer: it was delicious and excellent prized, and taking look on food it also looked delicious. I'd say one of the best catering services in European trains.

If I were you, I wouldn't record any train videos in Poland for now. We have a weird law coming to life that prohibits recording some railway facilities and rail lines and we have no clue how it will be working or executed, but you might get your stuff confiscated or even get arrested.

Cool reflection of the Palace of Culture & Science at 0: 25! I had a wonderful week in Poland in 2009. Too bad it was six years too early for your EIP train between Warszawa and Krakow, but at least my train ran non-stop.

Could it be that Pendolinos are narrower so that they don't exceed the loading gauge when tilting?
And yeah I get it that the ED250 doesn't tilt, but it's the same type.

10: 06 A route plate! Also, when I rode the Pendolino two years ago for vacations in Tricity, there was an incident at WARS, which resulted in only a buying of Mars Bar.

Idea for 2024: See if you can catch a ride on the Glacier Express, or maybe in one of the RhB's open top cars, in switzerland. The former is a bit costly though.

Did they give you sparkling water? I was surprised to see how much sparkling water is consumed in Poland. When I visited, it was real hard to find regular water!

In Poland there's no bigger way of showing your bourgeoisie than buying tickets for the 1st class on Pendolino - By the way, that's Chopin played on board!

The CMK line is being upgraded to support speeds of 250 kph. Once finished, it will let Pendolino to travel between Krakow and Warsaw by less than 2 hours -

I have 4 ic pkp intercity cars from roco in h0 scale, just wish i had the loco but then i need an entire roco starter set and the loco itself just to run it

I took this train from Katowice to Warsaw and back earlier this year, also in first class. It was quite a nice experience, except for the delays.

This remainds me my Erasmus so hard. I used to go from Warszawa to Krakow with train once a mounth. Using the IC and the EIP indistinctly. --
