Also, my point was that GMO's are never labeled; period. The only way to be sure is to either research the company you're concerned about, and see what others are saying about their products, or to call the company yourself, and figure that information out on your own. If you stay away from processed foods, and eat organic, whole fruits/vegetables, your risk of exposure will be reduced dramatically. There's still a chance the plant could be exposed to GMO's from nearby crops. That stuff spreads.

I agree with you fully, but just to clear things up, I wasn't specifically going after sweetleaf, just a comment in general about the misleadings of natural flavours. In all honesty I never looked at the ingredients but I just checked it out now, and lets be real here, why do you think this vanilla flavouring needs natural flavours?
Up here we get organic vanilla extract and all thats in it is (alcohol, sugar cane, vanilla bean extract ) theres no need for natural flavours IMHO

There you go being paranoid again. ;) I wasn't saying not to be concerned with the term, but to use a little bit of sense. If you're really that worried about the products the Sweetleaf company produces, then call them and start asking questions. It's that simple. I said I doubt their products contain GMO's. I said nothing about other companies. Obviously the majority of products on the market contain GMO's. I really doubt their products contain them, a few health experts promote Sweetleaf.

I've never heard of a Fruit, Vegetable, Herb, Spice, Vitamin, nor Mineral called natural flavors. Therefore, it isn't an ingredient other than being a disguised poison or other gross disgusting chemical or waste animal by product such as beaver anal glands (castoreum. Regardless if a package or bottle says Vegan on it or not. I consider it a Huge Red Flag. In case anyone's never heard of those terms, just google them. YUCK! :( I don't hang on every word any1 says cuz this is proof not 2.

That's a good point. All of their liquid stevia products with added flavors also contain natural flavors. The only exception is their pure liquid stevia with no added flavors. That one doesn't contain the natural flavors (whatever that may be. I'm sure whatever it is, it's neither MSG nor GMO's, but it does potentially pose a risk. In my honest opinion, avoiding processed foods also means avoiding processed stevia products. Grow the plant, and use the actual leaves. That's where it's at.

A person doesn't have to be vegan for economical reasons. When one realizes that meat consumption (especially in excess) brings inevitable harm to one's physiology, the choice to void meat from one's diet is made generally on the consensus that one is making a healthier choice, leading one down a path of long lasting vitality. So when one chooses to have a carnivore as a pet, one has no flipping problem giving that pet the food it was designed to eat. Plain and flipping simple.

You're being paranoid. Natural flavors isn't a concern in this case because the stevia product she's using doesn't have any sodium in it. Just look at the sodium content, and it says 0%. That is proof that there is no ms. g. (monosodium glutamate) in it. Also, I doubt their products contain any GMO's, and natural flavors does not mean GMO's. GMO's are never labeled, and doesn't need to be made hidden with terms like natural flavors. A little sense will do some people good.

and your right, natural flavours does not mean GMO, but in this day in age, hiding what's in prepared food does not sit well with me, and that is all natural flavours is, a cloak to hide behind. I dont care if your colonel sanders with 11 herbs and spices, if I'm not informed of everything in it, I'm not eating it.
