How many calories for weight loss? Calories NOT created equal Juliette: I am 15 years old and i don't really know what to do as i have- for ages been stuck on what to eat, how much to exercise etc. I have recently gained a few pounds and only feel as though it's going to get worse. I have always struggled with restricting how much i eat as i always give into cravings. This is probably because i have been restricting my diet to 1200 calories a day but it never works out as i always get hungry and binge. I have listened to your messages in your videos and now somewhat understand that you don't need to restrict calories but to eat the 'right calories' however i don't fully understand what to eat and how much to eat! What do you eat in a day? I have considered going vegan and want to but it wouldn't be in great convenience as my mum cooks dinner and it would be a fuss etc. i am also very self conscious so feel as though when going to a friends house for example, it would be embarrassing for them to have to change what their feeding me because i am vegan! However i want to follow this vegan raw diet but need further guidance, thanks xx

Poor information! Yes, eating fruit over McDonalds is much more healthy, and eating lot's of fruits has endless health benefits. BUT meat itself is not at all 'toxic' for your body. You need to brush up on your science and read some published research paper before preaching stuff to millions of people. By cutting out meats, you are also starving your body from crucial vitamins and especially amino acids, BCAA's and other essential forms of fat that are crucial for your body. Also, by having such a low fat diet, you are screwing up your hormones because fats are NEEDED for hormone control. Please, read proper research studies before spouting rubbish!

Calories count. There's no two ways about it.
If a 200LB 6'1 guy is a vegan and he consumes 4, 000 calories a day with zero exercise, he will GAIN weight, GUARANTEED. No matter what percentage of that is/isn't fat.
Same guy, eats just 2 Big Macs a day with zero exercise, (which total 1, 100 calories) He will lose weight GUARANTEED. No matter what percentage of that is/isn't fat.
I'm not saying that's a healthy way to go, but it IS mainly about calories in and calories out.
Once you're in shape, THEN you don't have to worry about a caloric deficit. Just burn what you use.

We have evolved to eat meat no matter what you say. It's a scientific fact. Anyway, weight loss is much more about calories in vs. calories out. If you eat too many calories, no matter what those are, you will gain weight and the opposite is true for weight loss. It's very simple, don't eat shitty foods that are highly processed with added chemicals, and watch your intake. There is no need for the silly diets that you are advocating.

Wow freelea! Thank you so much. I haven't come across anybody but you who explained calories with honest truth and clarity. Thank you so much! I haven been restricting calories too and eating fatty things. I never lost weight. For about 2 weeks I have been a strict vegan and everyone around me is saying I am losing too much weight haha! =)

2 things 1 she is very lean BUT she seems to have little to no muscle mass, 2 if yyou eat 4000 caloires of any food with 0 working out or or some movement you will gain FAT. this lady runs and does cardio thats why she can eat a high carb cal diet and not be over weight

one tiny little problem. i have low red bloodsells and iron deficiency so if i cut off the meat i eat im gonna have serious health problems. you could say i can take supplements but atificial food suplements arent good if taken for every day a very long time (aka forever)

Thanks for another super video Freelee: )! I am telling people all the time that calories are not all one and the same! Long term success CANNOT come from restriction! Love watching a few of your videos after I come back from training in the morning!

granted you in fine shape, you have no idea what your talkin about. carbs & fats are your friend. without either 1, you would literally DIE. & please stfu about calories. there is no such thing as a calorie. its a unit of measurement, not an ingredient.

Hi Freelee, I hope this isn't too personal of a question but I was curious if you are considering having children any time soon? I am interested in seeing how LFRV diets affect pregnancy, and would love to know your thoughts on the subject as well.
