Love watching your show, but while not from your land, I strongly recommend you use treated lumber for anything that will get wet or touch the ground. Even if you strip the bark and char it, unless its some resistant species like cedar or locust, it will only last a few years. If its totally dry all the time, it will last longer. Just hate to see you put all the work and love into your projects and they not last. Good luck!

Jake get a deep well pump but make sure you tie a rope to the Pump really well next before you drop the pump down you will need a frying pan with a notch in it that will let the pipe go down for each section you will have to build stops into the plastic so the pump just does not drop on you real fast this is where the Frying pan comes into play.

Here is a helpful hint. Using a scaffold like masons use would be safer and allow you to reach the top of your yurt. More easily. Also you need a wheelbarrow with two wheels. It would be less likely to tip over. Enjoy the show stay safe take care of the healers and felines

If you don't install vertical kick plates on those steps there is an opening in those steps for her or your ankle to get caught in the step and break. the risk gets higher as you get older. You should install kick plates on those steps so if you do fall you won't break bones.

For all the stuff you bought like that blue tank and those ibc-s you probably could have just bought a submersible pump for the well then plumbed it to the house. You could have it run off solar.
