its called a -standing charge- here in uk, its 25p per day for each fuel so 50p per day for gas & electric, problem here is electricity & gas are sold to you now by private energy firms & everyone of them rip you off if you aint careful, some take the piss so much that you could power buckingham palace for what they are estimating your bill at, it was far better in 80s/90s when its was 1 company selling you energy owned by the government, now it sucks, iv found pre-payed energy is better as they are limited on how much they can charge you, before i went pre-pay i was getting billed as much as buckingham palace.

Nicole, pull that truck up to that wood that needs to be moved and then move truck to where you need the wood! Girl, I'd be paying somebody to move that wood! You don't have to do it all! Be nice to yourself girl! There are some things a woman doesn't have to do unless she wants to! You already work very hard, you deserve some help! A conveyor belt is what y'all need, they are $200 or less online! BTW, get an electric heater to use sometime instead of burning wood! Plug that sucker up to that battery thing y'all just got! That'll work! ;)

LOL- off grid living, lol. These people do not want to work so they pretend to live off grid. Ask you for money so they can continue not working. Plus U-tube pays them. Keep supporting them, send them money. Believe the lie that they live here. With the money they are getting they no doubt have a couple of homes.

With as much rain as you guys get, why don't you have a water filtration system? You have all the resources to make as many as you want or need. Yiu definitely can make your own coal. Think about guys. why not honey instead of sugar? Why not honey bees. There are many uses.

I think one of the most satisfying aspects of these vids for me is they always have the right tools, vessels, etc for the jobs. Whether in the garden, or forest, or kitchen. Top notch functionality, and aesthetically pleasing.

Our neighbor, Mr. Jorgenson had a row of peach trees and would pick them and preserve the fruit in multiple ways. Peach cobbler with hand churned ice cream was the absolute best. So glad he shared -

Love this series. Great effort, you two. I live in the bush in Australia. I too have to move firewood. I have a bush rigged flying fox between trees to reduce legwork. Just a thought.
