i think one of the effects of having a purposely misinformed electorate, especially one as well notified that there are _definitely_ bad actors in the system, is the tendency of most people to not want to rock the boat. we talk a lot about the people who get radicalized, but not so much about the people who will have a legitimate injury done to their civil rights and won't say anything because they don't want to be seen as one of those people.
i think there are a lot more people who will let minor things slide because they don't want to cause problems than there are people who are ripe for outright brainwashing, and it's the lot of people letting the little things go that's going to ultimately make or break the big things.

It s strange to me that it s called disruption as if the normal process of elections in this country is somehow free from blemish or disinformation. All kinds of ideological propaganda are part of any campaign, including subtle smears and outright lies constantly. Homegrown disinformation? As if conspiracy theories and propaganda have not always been a part of the equation. Many countries have been victim to disinformation and outright sabotage by our country it s normal for them

Disinformation, misinformation and lack of information are all major issues in the states. Especially the lack of information as the news have majorly covered D and R info in the votes but only slight coverage on any candidates not of the D or R parties. If at all any coverage is done!
So this does leave a great issue that we as a society do face in our times. How best to present information that is true information covering all sides of info spectrum.

If the Media stream media, would be honest there would be a gradual decrease in misinformation.
The news is now the anchors biased opinion. It is so sickening. We need News not Sensationalism not biased opinion but Actual news.
