video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Catalonias declaration of independence pushed Spain into uncharted waters, and the national government called new elections in the region. With tens of thousands of young people preparing to vote, we brought together first-time voters on different sides of the separatist debate and gave them questions to ask each other. Catalogne has a right of outodeterminanion because Catalognians have not national state. Cosovo has not a right of outodetermination because Albanians, if they do not love Serbie, may go to Albanie. Ukrainians, if they do not love Russie, go to Ukraine. So after decomposition of USSR Ukrainians do not need outodeterminanion. Tchekie set free for Slovakie - It is better to lose some part of territory but have not problems with national minoritys. There was a non stable state-centaure - now there are two stable states - it is good! 7-8 states in Europe will lost 15-20% of territory, but will obtain stability - without problems with national minoritys.

The Catalonian young people are systematically brain washed in schools and universities, as the US youth has been brain washed by the systematic Soros backed organisations infiltrating schools and universities. This is the new fascist movement, the neo-fascism. Never have we seen such aggressive and violent youth, imagine they will have the atom codes in a few years, they will be the generation finally destroying the planet - The New York Times and other MSM will be part, and equally responsible, of the final destruction of the planet backing the neo-fascism.

I personally don't think Catalonia should become independent and for many reasons, however I do agree that the Spanish government is retuning to it's old fascist ways by confiscating historical art, imprisoning politicians and so forth. These things do not help the situation. Spain should have never granted so much autonomy to it's regions, but instead should have ensured that the tax system is fair and that economic development be evenly distributed throughout the country.

Break up means a new beginning. No guarantee it will be a success or failure. Could be better, worse, or the same. But I gotta admit managing a small country with smaller number of citizen is way easier. It would give better welfare if managed properly. But if you're talking about Spanish pride, royalist, union, sort of thing, then it's a different story. Leave it up to you, Guys. Good luck with whatever it turns out!

Spanish youth are deeply unimpressive. There is insularity to them. A complete lack of imagination and will to engage with the world around them. Compare them to the youth I saw in Peru and Colombia who are hungry to improve themselves and their country. Future is grim in Spain.

3: 15 They act as though they have it hard. We are getting poorer in the US as the rich get richer. We don't fight for that. But you have fools creating problems because they are selfish, what matters is where everyone benefits. That is it. If both benefit, DON'T BE SELFISH.

Omg the definitely should not be independent. They need a federal type situation or something but Europe needs to get it together. The West needs to unite or else get swallowed by the east

Its really funny because in their catalan constitution they dont allow people to divide catalonia with a referendum hahahahha

How many are actual ethnic Catalans, and how many are ethnic Castilians that have been settling in the region since the 70s?
