Even as his landlord tears down the East Harlem building he lives in, Ray Tirado has stayed put in his apartment. Harassment by construction is a critical part of how gentrification takes hold in neighborhoods like this, experts say. Roboman: People forget that white Americans built New York, baltimore, etc, and then during white flight we had to abandon our own cities due to crime, and now that we are taking back buildings that our great grandparents lived in you act like it's a crime. All of these buildings were mostly built by he original white Americans who lived there. New York was once a ninety nine percent white city, so how is it stealing to take back a city our great great great grandparents built,

Pinnacle management and the tactics they are using are going to cause judgements to come upon them.
The following judgement vials will start affecting pinnacle for their greed grimy tactics.
The sorrows of 10, 000 persons who lost their homes all at once the sorrows of 190, 000 persons who were forced to leave their beloved apartments and neighborhoods at all once these judgements will affect all doing these wicked tactics and the properties will be sealed with these judgements

You know in our country you can walk around safely anywhere you want. Even drive with flags. Not just in business and gentrified districts whatever the latter means. NY Times CEO and co. should move to a non-gentrified hood. Does gentrified mean that people of Caucasian _race_ moved in which they are not allowed to do because of their race? It sounds like just another form of racism. Aren't most major American cities and large swaths of W. Europe especially France already degentrified? Ha.

Gentrification= White Democratic Liberals move into a neighborhood, raise the costs of housing, slowly but surely buy out or push out the people living there and then cry racism at other whites while blaming them for white privilege. Usually they come in as Hipsters or Yuppies

Are we missing the big picture here? He was renting. Meaning place the wasn't his He was entitled to nothing. The fact he got 50, 000 means he can pay his rent again for the rest of his life. It's called a sense of entitlement. Doesn't work in life.

It seems ridiculous of him on the surface but what hes holding onto is his community. Its a shame that thriving rich vibrant ethnic neighborhoods have just vanished. But we have to own property. There aint no way of getting around that.

His fate is happening to hundreds of millions of Chinese urban citizens nowadays, where the real estate developers tear down old dirty neighborhoods and build new malls and high rise buildings in every Chinese city

What kills me these new buildings are cheaply built and charging ten times the amount that even White People can hardly afford a month. Its them that caused this Massive Debt.
