My father went 100% blind in his mid 20-s due to type 1 diabetes, he knew it would happen but I don-t think you can ever truly prepare yourself for something so life changing. Like yourself he decided to not let it stop him and he became a massage therapist and truly was one of the best. He taught us that you can achieve anything you want in life by setting goals and working hard and it was an amazing life lesson to learn when you are young. My siblings and I all took what we learned and worked hard and achieved all of our life goals. I bought my first house at 21 and made 100k in equity within 5 years all while working my way up to be the youngest and most successful sales executive in my field. Although my Dad passed away when I was 21 he was very proud of all of our accomplishments and died a happy Dad.
I hope she continues to pursue her dream and has much success in life both professionally and personally!

Amazing! My mom was born blind (she-s passed on) but it never stopped her from doing almost the same thing-s that a sighted person was capable of doing. I-m always impressed by these types of accomplishments. Sighted people tend to forget that blind people rely on their other senses. I-ve never seen anyone with no sight do makeup though as my mom didn-t wear makeup but this is absolutely amazing! You keep on being strong and positive sweetheart!

It is certainly life-changing. It has been for me. Not everyone-s partners are strong enough to handle it. We have a choice to perpetuate positive thoughts and emotions, though it is often difficult to stave off negativity. I do my best to fortify my mind to be strong, or when those times, come, And I hope I can share those strategies with others who will put them to use. Thank you for sharing this video.

What a woman, what a personality. I had partial retina peel-off along with other eyesight issues. Don't wanna think about the possibility of going completely blind, it's hard.

From all of the videos i have watched on people being blinde, loosing a limb, or anything of that sort; she is the most honest and genuine. SO many videos pretend to be okay with it all the time but you know thats not how they always feel.

Interestingly enough, I had a friend in Highschool with the same exact condition! Thankfully she still has her eyesight, but it does cause her a bunch of other problems.
