I\'m 26 and i\'ve broken 400 bones - shake my beauty Galini: I have the same scars and many more, but I got most of them at a young age so they were always a part of me. Kids(and even adults which is absurd to me) would always stare and ask questions and my way to handle that was telling them crazy, funny stories about how I got them to make them think it was something cool rather than that there was something wrong with me- which worked for the most part concidering we are talking about middle schoolers here xd. Luckily this fact helped me a lot to not get bullied which is very rare and I'm very lucky and grateful. Anyways, I was never ashamed to show my scars because they are a big part of me and my life story. Even my parents tried to cover them up trying to protect me from the judgemental looks but I never let them to. If I had the possibility to not have them or get them removed, I wouldn't because they make me who I am. I'm happy she found the confidence to show them off as well!

Hi Karen, My name is Ean, I too was born in 1958 with osteogenesis Imperfecta but not diagnosed until I was 2 years old. From when I was born until I was 2 years of age they said it was child abuse as when I would brake a leg or arm I would come out in bruses and my parents had a devil of a time trying to convince them-doctors- they where wrong. I've had over 550 Brackes and lost count after that and 93 operations. Please Karen don't ever hid your story -scars- as they say a lot about the person. I'ts a bit like our service people who wear their medals proud, it tells of where they have been and what they have done and what they had to endure in their lives so be proud Karen, stay safe and keep smiling mate.

It-s so inspirational when you see individuals with -REAL LIFE CHALLENGES- are happy, push off such a positive vibe, they continuously try and overcome their struggles and their mentality about life leaves me speechless. Yet you have people that have no obstacles to compared to most of these stories and they are miserable, evil, and complain about so many things. Good for you girl! -----------

I'm so glad you did this video! I have O. I and it can be very painful and isolating. Mine is not as bad as hers, I can sometimes walk and I'm reminded of how blessed I am. She has such a better attitude towards it and outlook then I do so I'm inspired to stop feeling so sorry for myself lol

I don't understand why these disabled women always going to have their breasts hanging out of their shirts or bikinis. - it's really annoying-

This girl needs to have her whole life ergonomically corrected to fit her needs. It looks way harder than it needs to be for her to get around!

Your scars are kinda cool, if anything, glad you are gaining confidence and better health. I have to get my butt in gear and lose weight too.

I hope she can get a lift for her staircase soon so she doesn-t have to risk slipping down the stairs
