BORN with Epidermolysis Bullosa, (or EB, Kourtney is sharing her battle with a condition that leaves her dependent on constant care every day. Kourtney's skin must be wrapped in bandages every day due to severe blistering all over her body. The severe EB even led to a cancer diagnosis, which resulted in the amputation of both Kourtney's hands. Having already been through more than most people endure in a lifetime, Kourtney has overcome every hurdle thrown at her, not letting EB stop her from achieving her dreams. She created KoKo&Shae, a company which specialises in creating products to help people with EB and she uses her platform to inspire people to always push for their goals no matter what life throws at them. It's in the top ten of worst diseases that a person could have.
I'm sure in 200 years we can completely forget about these types of illneses.
Maybe someday we create nanomachines that could constantly repair DNA throughout a life of a person with this illness
Don't know what to say. It's not fair that someone has to go through that every day. But life at a whole scale is unfair.

I have this condition. But by the grace of Almighty, I've got the mildest form. Of course it hurts a lot.
You don't know how strong you are when being strong is the only choice you have.
She is legit an inspiration. Go ahead girl! I know you can achieve whatever you want. All my blessings and love with you!

Life is so painful for her and her caregivers, so sad. Rare diseases are not that rare. They should be given more importance than other common diseases. Such, patients should be given more care, by creating awareness and more research should be done on such diseases.

I would just like to say kourtney you are such a brave person I really look up to you. I have exzema and small rashes and when I see your pain I love how calm, you are. You should be proud of who you are and keep on being amazing!

If someone like her and whoever with these painful conditions can live with such a bright spirit even while in pain, I think all of us can, people need to appreciate life more but sadly this isn't what I see anywhere.

I suffer with depression, I struggle to even get out of bed or to do anything, don't even want to speak to people. When I see videos like this it makes me feel so guilty, I wish I could give my body to someone else. :(

I have a chronic illness since I was born I have spent my whole life back and forth in hospitals, Behind these diseases is a world of holiness, purity and humanity that the rest of the world could never reach.

This is the result of decades of atomic bomb testing and radiation accidents like Chernobyl and Fukushima. People with cancer all over the world and children born with genetic mutations.

It makes me feel sad that she is going through so much, but i believe in her and she can achieve everything she wants to. Stay strong, Kourtney and never give up. -

Her parents imposed her into hell - as all breeders do. I feel really bad for her that she has to endure so much suffering.
reply

I feel so sorry for her, she may have EB like I do, but hers is worse than mine - she lost her hair and arm from the pain of it -
