GRAMMAR: Adjectives and adverbs

GRAMMAR: Adjectives and adverbs education: Hello. I need your help with the sentence 'that's the end of the quiz well done if you 'got' them right.' .
the word 'got', I suppose we have to use the present tense. My thought must be incorrect because they're native speakers. but could you explain why?
