in VIET NAM we don' t pronounce /t/, /d/, /k/, / g/ , /p/ /b/ And -te, -de, -pe,-be,-ke,-ge when end the word. And we coudn't hear this. i only hear this in google translate . it' s so hard. example: foot & food, hi & hide

credit card in which t not only is a plosive sound and the next begins in another consonant sound, but also an assimilation comes before a word starting with the sound /k/ , so which rule I should adopt ?
