Really useful video! I havent known this phrase before, good to know the difference between stepping on somebodys foot and step in the meaning to hurry up while driving a car for example.

My project deadline is getting closer. I have to step on it in order to finish it in time.

Is it just to be used in car rides? Or whenever you are on a hurry? Can you use it with let's (we) or just as an imperative addressing to s.o. ? Thank you... :)
