People are THE problem. We need to acknowledge that nonhuman animals have the same rights that we claim for ourselves because we consider ourselves moral and that we depend on fully functional ecosystems. Therefore, we need to develop policies that coerce people to stop having kids to drive the population to well below 2 billion while we develop a sustainable economy to reduce the human load and provide more for wildlife. Then there's the impact of anthropogenic global warming. We are collapsing every ecosystem and it needs to stop.

I am wiped out, but I'd like to thank you for this video. From my point of view, a runaway consumption will definitely plummet our natural ressources. Wildlife problem is our common problem and we must take measures at a short notice.

Thank you for the lesson. I didn't know that meaning of the word 'runaway' - I've only heard something like 'runaway success' which has more kind of positive meaning I suppose :)
