If we have evolved from apes are still here and people are still here then how come theres no in between species either above ground or below ground? Not one, not even the bones of one! The evidence would be overwhelming if that were true. There would be millions if not billions of in between species that came in between us and apes and there are none. So chimpanzees are animals and they are not related to us. They might be related to you people because youre not human you are sub human. Its so easy to debunk the theory of evolution that its obvious your peoples agenda is to disprove creationism. I have a Jack Russell and he is just as intelligent as the great ape. My Jack Russell passes all the tests to prove thats true!

If the people who live in the same area as the Great apes and consider them food and there is no protection for those apes then they will disappear and the only way to protect them is to remove them and spread them throughout the good zoos of the world and start a breeding program. Don't cry after the fact, apparently nothing is being done to protect them, and the U. S. has enough to do without spending millions of dollars to protect a small band of apes no one cares anything about in their own country.

There not our distant relatives if that were the case why do we have humans and apes. Its a theory and nothing else. You have no evidence to suggest otherwise. I'm not saying don't save or protect apes but one way to protect them is to teach the natives how to harvest other species like chickens and rabbits and goats and pigs but don't expect them to stop killing apes if you don't have other means of helping them out.

that is messed up! i can see if your hungry and you need food, then by all means kill and eat to survive but keeping a baby chimp chained up, being beaten and starved until death is wrong
reply

actually his comment makes sense but that's because I'm also a hunter and someone who actually cares for the environment, and knows what people go throw in those countries.

Ask Jane Goodall why she sterilized all the chimpanzees she rescued, hundreds of thousands of them? Shes the reason why theyre endangered because of hunters!
reply

Make it punishable by death to kill them and I promise you they will stop. the first truck full of dead poachers brought through town would stop it
reply

Maybe people hunt them because they are hungry. It is easy to judge when we can load up the fridge from the grocery store.
