ABSOULUTELY! Had a couple of GRIZZLES that were a little to close for comfort (10 ft away) and all the yelling we did would not scare this animal. the ONLY thing which stopped this 750 lb beast was a 7 mm Magnum in the neck. Toooooooo close Not a comfortable situation to be in. And a decision had to be made. the bears or us. And 90% of the time. there is no problem. and the bears are scared away; SOOOOO, what happened here. guess you could not film that part; but my guess is.

So buddy trudged around the ice and snow in ridiculous temperatures for 4 weeks just to get a shot of a bear climbing out of a cave? Wow! Time for a better hobby bud, may I suggest drinking beer and relaxing at the beach.

Dang it. they cut the film Off, right before the bear effortlessly smashes the door in and feeds her cubs a couple appetizers. JK
