Lifes ups and downs are made alittle better when you have someone who cares for you. These are special people who truly care and have devoted their lives to the care of these helpless creatures, God Bless Them. Most rescues would have put Wu Wu down to make space for healthy Orangs. If I had the money, I would help with donations. I know some people who could learn from this.

They stay there for a life time. Because orangutans like being pampered and taken care of all their lives by people. These idiots pretend like they are releasing them one day. BULL. n. Maybe they will mate and have another baby you can have a a pet and for the cameras. Another actor born that works for bananas.

I do love orangutans, but the question being. Is keeping alive a blind orangutan in a cage a good thing? If I was going blind and in a cage just put me down.
That poor thing will not live life to the fullest, he'll just live to make some feel better doing a good thing, but is it?

they cannot make pathways from cement, the jungle undergrowth and roots will continually cause cracks and the maintenance in the long run will cost more.
Funny how some can only find the negative. try buying things with no palm oil and put your money where your thoughts are.

Her name is Lona, not Lone. She has dedicated her life to the wonderful animals. I was really saddened when they terminated the show. I felt like I knew some of the animals, I hope the money is still coming in to help her do all she can do. God Bless You Lona

Since Wu Wu is blind, I'm wondering how did he manage to climb up so high in the new cage and find the swing to sit in or even know that there was a swing up there at all.

they should open a hunting season for these big head apes, 5 points for the babies and 15 for the adults. All you can shoot for one price

I thought orangutans were solitary animals. Are we sure Wu Wu wants company, or are we transferring human-normative expectations onto him?
reply

I rather die than live blind. I dont know if this orangutan feels the same. but if he does, i think we are doing them a disfavor
