Animals must try to gain a position of power in their world, this young male chimpanzee wants to be accepted as part of the elite but it's a dangerous journey. Taken from Life Story

None of their lives would be that bad, 98% of their day is peaceful interactions with each other and this makes them sound far more aggressive with each other than we KNOW them to be. A small male Chimp would never grow into a large alpha any other way than to get along well with everyone in the group including larger male chimps until that time, we know this bout them, they love deeper than people do, and we're trying to make them out to be the animals.

This is really interesting in drawing parallels between chimps, bonobos, and humans.
In chimps, intense violence or murder inside the group is considered normal, when it is not for bonobos or humans.
However humans are known for intense violence/murder of humans not in their group, like chimps. Bonobos dont so this.
Interesting.

Girls: Its so easy being a guy!
Guys: Without status the male will never be able to enjoy the luxuries of good food and female attention.
