+BBC Earth, is there any way you can add closed captions for my deaf and hard of hearing students? I love videos like these. I use this one to teach about the special properties of water. Unfortunately I can't use it in my class this year because I can't add closed captions.

Arrived at this video due to a word search app featuring kangaroo as something that digs They can dig holes a meter deep to find water too apparently. Humans are so feeble by comparison to other animals.

If just licking their arms can cool Kangaroos enough to survive this, then it just goes to show how well we humans handle regions like this; We can sweat from our entire bodies.

I used this technique with water since I was a child when I needed to lower my body temperature. Very effective, especially pouring running water on your wrists.

as a human, i kind of do the same thing. i place an ice pack on the back of my neck every so often to keep cool in the summer heat
