They can't do a thing, It is illegal to touch polar fauna, not only would you pay a huge fine, but they would never leave you or possibly the television station or research laboratory for which you work to set foot there again. They had to make these international laws so strict so that no country violates the wildlife conservation treaty in those places.

People always commenting animals are more humane and we should learn from them, but humans are the most loving species, a lot of these comments saying how they would save the babies even though they are from a different species. Compassion.
