Also, another example of a large clan of hyenas not using the night to hunt, but to scavenge. Huh. If theyre such incredible hunters, why arent they hunting, instead of watching lions eat all night? So many videos of clans waiting to clean up after lion kills, it makes you wonder why there are researchers who constantly say hyenas are the best hunters, but so many videos of them standing around, waiting to move in. For hours and hours, so why dont they go get their own?

3: 14 Damn straight. I've said it many times before that hyenas are some brave, and tough mamma jammas. I see alot of people hate on hyenas, and accuse them of cowardice when they give up the battle due to the numbers turning against them, when more lions and/or a male lion shows up to the fight, but let's see 15-20 humans without weapons bravely take on 4-8 lions. Ain't happening.
Lions may be bigger, badder, and stronger, but hyenas aren't too far behind lions when it comes to being tough warriors.

keeps the blood lines clean, no inbreeding. Now this male has to go find his own pride, his chances are slim to none and slim just left town. Every territory he crosses into will either be a battle ground, or a graveyard. If he could join up with another nomad then his chances would improve or maybe take over a pride that only has 1 very old male whos time has come.
