Make your own SIMPLE 5x5x5 RGB LED Cube (Part 1)
video description
and another thing i'm kinda confused dont u need a resistor for every led connected or i can just connect dataoutput to data input and all of them to one resistor?
i was think it should be a parallel circuit but the one in the video i believe is series circuit

at 3: 08, how does that space fit in a 8 mm hole for your schematic? On the right hand side, how does the 0. 8mm holes work? Within the 8mm allotted, is it 3mm, then 2mm, then hole, then 2 mm, then 3mm? That adds up 11. 6mm within the allotted 8mm for the LED which doesn't make sense.

Hi, I really like the simplicity of this build, but I'd like to go bigger, 8x8x8, would this be possible with the same components? I figure I might need a different resistor and probably a more powerful power supply but other than that I would expect this set-up to just scale up?

Sir,
All you videos motivate me a lot.
I'm trying to build 888 single colour LED Cube on my own.
Just wanted to ask you is it possible to create 888 LED Cube using Arduino Nano and 8 shift registers?
Thanks

Hello Scott, In the tutorial photos, I see a component like a blue resistor soldered to the LED wiring, that is not in the list of components, what is it, is it necessary? Thank you!

Do Code and circuit connection works fine with Arduino UNO Chinese Clone which has interface CH340G instead of ATmega328p?
