163 and Ramanujan Constant Paul: First of all, I myself am no 'mathematician'. which means even looking at this so called 'clear' (and, undoubtedly, interesting) explanation. is something I find to be just totally and completely confusing! As a matter of fact, I honestly must confess that Maths has always been my very worst subject both in school/as well as, in college; I never got up to university level. which was mainly due to my inability to pass the basic 'maths/english' exams (I got up to Level II ability in both maths/english); nevertheless, I have to admit that the number: '163', does mean an awful lot to me. namely, I was born in the year: 1963/and, too, there is, uniquely, just 'one' of me. ;-)

-Amateur- is not the right word here. We need to have a word to distinguish people like Ramanujan and Fermat from people like my sister (who is a computer scientist who dabbles in pure Mathematics for fun. Something that implies -natural mathematician- or -intuitive mathematician-. If Mathematics had as much -celebrity-professors- as Physics the term would have already been coined.

A Bridge from a want to be Feynman to (a Ram) a Bright Star. 163 - 9 - 8 - 7 / 6 - 5 - 4 / 3 - 2 + 1 = 137 Some would say it's going downward unless you start with the answers, The only real difference is 26, an English alpha-bet. I submit Also This is a Fist from Bruce Lee and some Kung Pow Chickens, The Chen Zen Bridge. Where is Akutagawa?

I wonder if educated and scholarly people think twice before calling someone an amateur. Mr. Clark, S. Ramanujan was one of the greatest mathematicians this world has seen and he didn't have to waste time learning math at school like any other.

Sine exists only if you can prove the serie of prime is an odd number by sine.
Unfortunately you demonstrate it is not.
You can not divide 1 radian and expect the result to be an 1 with sine.
We need to use radian = tau = 1

Ramanujan was the most talented mathematician to grace the world. He didn't 'proof' what he already knew until they learned him how to. He knew things on his own that the collective mind of math's history took centuries to learn.

Came here from some quack video that tries to assert this guy had access to some heavenly record of knowledge and that's why he was such a genius. While this guy was a genius, sadly most of humanity is grievously ignorant.

10: 41 is my favorite moment. I have to agree, I don't think most ordinary people would expect that e-d-pi where d forms a number system with unique factorization, would be very close to, but not quite, a while number.

i have a dream that someday (? ) mathematicians will discover that when you 'graph' these things ( with however many dimensions are necessary ) this stuff will make a lot more sense, & be very easy to 'see'
