And you ve got a problem: you don t have the override code. You know you need the same numbers that were used to authorize the launch, but one wrong answer will lock you out. Can you figure out what numbers to enter to stop nuclear war? Alex Rosenthal shows how

I found a problem in the solution
It fails to contemplate the relative primes as an option.
EJ: if the boss numbers were 2 and 5 A would have a 7 so he doesn't know if it comes from 1+6 or 2+5 or 3+4 or 1+2+4
if it's 1+6 or 1+2+4 then the multiplication would be 6 and B won't know A number
if it's 2+5 then the multiplication would be 10 and B would know A number because 10 could only be formed as 2 5
if it's 3+4 then the multiplication would be 12 and B won't know A number
and so after knowing that B knows A number, A could be certain that his number comes from 2+5

This was one was quite easy to get with a bit of guess work.
From the get go i presumed the sum cant be more than 6 as that gives way to many options each way, but it also couldnt be 4 as they would both know each others number from the start.
So then you just play around with numbers and test them as shown.

Ohhhh, I thought I had the correct solution and I did for the problem I solved, but I completely forgot about the fact that they could have been given a sum/product made up by more than two numbers. I solved the problem for the case where it could have only been two numbers.

The statement of the riddle was confusing. The distinct numbers that boss chose were from 1 to 6, but the sum and product weren't restricted in the same range (as per the original statement at 1: 35. However, the solution assumed it. The statement must be clearly written.

I love that I've watched enough of these to recognize that the minions being able to figure out each other's answer is actually useful information. Still can't solve it, but I'm interested to see how it works in the solution.

Alright so I'm gonna be honest here chief these are usually fun little brain teasers but right now I've heard the thing explained to me about 4 times already and the only thing I'm feeling is my brain dripping out of my ears.

I have one question about reading books in 2021, as technology developed we have more dynamic and attaractive ways to learn, like your videos etc. So is it worth to reading now or just watch vidoes. Please answer.

Oh my goodness I got the prime number deduction correct. I did get to the answer eventually but the whole two elements got me confused. Didn t know what that meant.

This submarine riddle has nothing to do with Australia's faltering relationship with France, increasing tension with China, OR its new deal with the US and UK!

What funny is that Presh Talwalker just uploaded a video with similar logical solution but was easy and had to do only one thing but it helped me solve this one. :)
