I'm from 2050, due to a second US Civil War, WW3 didn't break out, though other conflicts did escalate, but remained localised. There was another major economic depression in 2029, with the Asia-Pacific region coming out as the world's new major economic power, especially from South Asia and East Asia. Whilst we haven't made it to Mars, AI controlled robots are building a lunar base, from local materials, with the intent for human settlement in 2060. Due to a mutation in H1N5, instead of getting sick, infected people started sprouting feathers, and developing other bird like traits.

. global warming is a scam created by al gore. who has been paid for carbon credits. you're being had. we have not been on this earth long enough to understand what the right temp is. nor do we know what the composition of that atmosphere should be for a perfect life. because its constantly changing. cuz it does!

Sorry I doubt aliens are going to waste the time to mobilize a starship to travel even 1 lightyear just to say hi then go back home. If aliens show up we have something they want and they are here to take it. And believe me, if they have the technology to travel space they will be taking whatever they are after.
