Kraken wins, hands down, no competition, the shark is simply not big enough or have the weapons needed to win, shark Vs squid version of the Kraken, 50/50 I'd say if the shark uses hit and run, taking a limb from the squid each time, then the Meg would win, however, the the colossal squid got a grip on the Meg, then the squid would most likely win.

What octopus do now to survive shark attacks is put their tentacles in a sharks gills causing it to suffocate. Kraken at its size could do the same thing.

All the kraken would really need to do is keep the shark immobile. Sharks, I believe, can't get oxygen through their gills if they aren't moving.
