This vid might be a bit old but I am a hard core star wars fan and in my opinion Star Wars wont be ruined by Disney if you are looking our for the children, but since im 17 I dont care as much for the children's opinion. I want Star Wars to turn into a more mature film without all these crossover one time episodes which is already to late if you've seen the Phineis and Ferb episode featuring Star Wars. They are going to shake every parent around the world for their money by making it as childish as possible. So yeah this doesn't please me at all, I mean seriously cant Disney for one moment consider the older fans of Star Wars and not just the ones they'll make the most money off of. Star Wars is a huge part of my heart and god damn it I dont want to see someone just come in and burn it down. Please Go ahead Wired I want to be told how wrong I am.

Hey! Here's a thought, maybe this Disney Star Wars will be grittier. I mean look at Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney even went a little risque with Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Little Mermaid. Those have some pretty suggestive content. They are kids movies with jokes that kids don't understand and content that might as well be from a CW tv show.
Just a theory. Disney made a mistake buying LucasFilms. They might even come out on top of Universal Studios, God forbid.
Disney, I have a message for you:
Stop worming your way to the top of the status quo before alienate everyone who is six and over. We wouldn't want parents hating you now would we? Screw you. And for plagiarizing Kimba the White Lion.

Wrong! Star wars wasn't originally for kids. It didn't start pandering to kids until Return of the Jedi and the introduction of Ewoks. Once they realized they could merchandise toys, the star wars franchise went down the crapper. That's why the force awakens was just a rehash plot line. They don't care about interesting stories or plots anymore, they just wanna sell video games and toys to kids.

Disney will destroy Star Wars like it did Star Trek. Episode 7 and 8 were terrible and JarJar Abrams is bringing it down. Remakes and more remakes is all we are getting. Disney shouldn't have bought star wars, all Disney wants is money. The story or plot doesn't matter, the quality doesn't matter, as long as it makes Disney money it's going to be remade over and over again.

Star Wars has been dead for a while at this point. There's no passionate vision guiding it. It's just a media sausage machine that can no longer remember what made it special to begin with. It's like an old man puttering around looking for his pudding and forgetting he once ruled the world.

and they called it a american film on wiki. my goodness its a British film and will always will be a British no matter what: . not in the video. just saying. but yeah Disney isn't worthy to have its crappy child like logo on the film. Lucas films stays stronge: )

Your points on Marvel are wrong. Yes Disney did acquire Marvel in LATE 2010 which was AFTER Iron Man 2 btw. Next they didn't get control of the Marvel films until Iron Man 3. Do some research as Paramount was responsible for everything prior to Iron Man 3.

The only way that the avenger movie sucked is if you're in a parallel universe where you didn't actually see the movie I saw Star Trek sucks. Shatner is a terrible actor terrible singer and terrible all-around person how am I wrong? Challenge accepted?
