This has been debunked as a garbage idea, many times over from tech minds who actually know (not zuckerscrub. There are far better options for far off lands. If you do not know, there is technology now that has created hundreds of small ISP companies that only do long range ''wifi'' like tech, which is made by companies like Ubiquiti Networks. Basically makes a wireless signal go over 20 miles, enabling wireless high speed internet superior to satellite. Not to mention, satellite internet itself has boomed in terms of speed and price reduction the past 2 years, which would make this plane garbage and unefficient. Talk to minds in tech if you dont believe me (tech grad here, cough)

This is pretty dope. I mean really really cool! The potential on this tech could litterly be life saving in harsh environments.

If the drone is beaming down wifi to a particular spot pressumably it would be just as easy to set up a wifi tower there no?

In bad weather and natural disasters, this thing would definitely not stay in the air for very long. Looks quite fragile!
